Russian stocks not to change much amid mixed background

MOSCOW, Jun 22 (PRIME) -- Russian stocks are projected to change moderately at the opening on Monday amid a mixed foreign background, analysts said.

“We expect the MOEX Russia Index to open with a moderate change within 0.5%, in the range of 2,745–2,775 points. The nearest support levels will be 2,740 and 2,730 points. The main resistance will be 2,780 and 2,800 points,” Vitaly Manzhos, senior risk manager at investment company Algo Capital, said.

Before the start of trading in Russia, the U.S. stock index futures are rising by 0.4–0.5%, Brent oil futures lost 0.2%, China’s Shanghai Composite added 0.3%, and Japan’s Nikkei225 is on the verge of positive and negative change.
